Frequently asked questions
This is one of the most common reasons people contact me. You don’t need to prepare anything before I arrive. Together, we’ll break things down step by step and create systems that feel manageable, practical, and easy to maintain.
Not at all. Please don’t stress about preparing the space beforehand.
Seeing your home as it normally functions helps me understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how I can create systems that genuinely support your everyday life.
Absolutely not — nothing is ever thrown away or donated without your approval.
That said, organising isn’t about magically creating more space. If there are too many things for the space to function well, some letting go is usually part of the process.
A big part of what I help with is removing the decision fatigue that often comes with clutter and overwhelm. When people are surrounded by too many things, it can become mentally exhausting knowing where to start or what to keep. I’ll guide you through the process helping make decisions feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
Every session is different depending on what you need help with — this may include decluttering, organising a space, packing for a move, or unpacking and setting up a new home.
No — I actually recommend waiting for my suggestions first.
After I assess the space, either in person or through photos/videos, I can recommend storage solutions that will genuinely work for your home and the way you live. Many people buy containers too early, which can sometimes create more clutter or unnecessary spending.
I work with clients across Greater Sydney, including:
· Busy families
· Parents managing kids’ toys and shared spaces
· Professionals with limited time
· ADHD clients needing practical systems
· Clients moving home
· Downsizers wanting a simpler lifestyle
Every situation is unique, and my approach is always tailored to the individual and the way they live.
The minimum booking is 4 hours, however most sessions usually run between 5–6 hours depending on the space and the amount of organising required.
Tidy Living provides home organising services across Greater Sydney.
My approach is calm, practical, empathetic, and completely judgement-free. Clients often tell me they feel calmer during the process because I bring a grounded and supportive energy into the home.
Yes — if storage products are needed for the space, I can either:
· Recommend products for you to purchase
· Create a detailed shopping list
· Shop on your behalf for an additional fee
All recommendations are based specifically on your space and organisational needs.
At this stage, I do not remove donations from the property.
Absolutely.
Client privacy and confidentiality are very important to me. Any before-and-after photos are always discussed beforehand, and client names or personal details are never shared publicly.
Because every home and project is different, pricing is customised based on the scope of work involved. Pricing is provided after:
· A complimentary initial visit
· Or after reviewing photos or videos of the space
